These are some useful programmes, apps and links that some of the Witness the Fitness members use and share. These are not endorsed by Witness the Fitness, but collected here for members to use if they want to.
Couch to 5k
A running programme for beginner (or lapsed) runners to build themselves from nothing and up to running 5k. It starts slow and intersperses running with walking to build up muscles. There are a bunch of apps that can help, including the slightly difficult to find NHS app

STRAVA
An app to track your running and cycling. Track and share your routes, see how you are improving and how others do
Zombies, Run!
A running app with a difference. It’s set in a time of post zombie outbreak, it follows stories where you receive missions to complete and the occasional zombies to outrun. You can walk, job or run and set your own interval training missions
Runkeeper
A running app with lots of features, including workouts, routes, progress data, challenges and community features
Vi Lifebeam
Headphones with a built AI personal trainer and accompanying app
Park Run
Free weekly 5k runs in parks around the world. A welcoming group for runners of all abilities.
GoodGym
A community of runners that combines getting fit with doing good. It includes running to help older people with one-off tasks, running to regularly see an isolated older person or running with a group to help community projects
Endomondo
A free app designed to track your workouts, provide audio feedback along the way and offer guidance on how to reach your goal
Human
An all-day activity tracker that encourages you to be more active by focussing on at least 30 mins of activity a day rather than steps or calories burnt (you can increase to 90 or 120 mins if you wish)
30 days of yoga with Adriene
A yoga programme to get you started. Perfect for beginners or those wanted to get back into yoga. Adriene has a relaxed and accessible style

Drinkaware
App to help track your alcohol consumption and spend over time, calculate units and calories and set goals to help you moderate your drinking
Club Soda
Club Soda is a mindful drinking community. They want to create a world where nobody has to feel out of place if they are not drinking alcohol. It is free to join Club Soda, where you can set goals, track progress and get motivational emails.
My Fitness Pal
Calorie counter app, useful if you are trying to cut down on snacking and over calorific foods
Relive
Relive and share your outdoor adventures. Relive turns runs and cycling into videos
Zwift
Zwift pairs your bike with indoor training gear to create a smooth and realistic ride in a virtual world
Headspace
Guided meditation app with lots of different packs for different challenges in your life.
